Many New Reskins

Lots of goodies have appeared tonight, these reskinners are trying to break the servers, I know it......

First we have four fantastic new DVT's from Mungo Design in WSMR Unbranded, Network Rail, DBS & EWS.

These can be downloaded from the dedicated Mungo Design page by clicking here.

And second, we have two new reskins from Richard Fletcher. One is a 'Thameslink Southern Great Northern' Class 365 repaint. Then we have a 'Departmental' Class 37/0, in which is to be utilised in two upcoming scenario packs from DPSimulation.

These can be downloaded from the dedicated RF72 Reskins page by clicking here.

DPSimulation Store – All In One Pack

Following the recent and well received test sale which bundled all scenario packs at a reduced price, I have decided to implement some changes following feedback.

When a customer previously did want to buy all packs, they all had to be added to the basket one by one, a time consuming process. I have now added a new option to the store page, which allows the purchase of all packs together for a reduced price, currently £11.99. This is a saving of £1.94 on the previous price of buying all seven packs at £13.93.

Any future scenario packs will be added to this bundle and the price adjusted accordingly, but will always have a discount over the cost of buying all packs.

This also enables a better platform for offering a sale on all packs, without the user having to spend time adding each product.

Virgin Mk2e Coaches - Now Available

With a big thanks to the original author Bill Platt (styckx) and with full permission, I am pleased to announce I am now hosting his excellent Virgin Mk2e coaches.

Widely used in scenarios, I was led to believe that these coaches were no longer available so requested and received permission to keep them available. The DT Mk2e coach pack is required, these are available from Armstrong Powerhouse. They were also originally available from both Digital Traction and Steam.

They can be downloaded by following this link.

Class 67 DBS - Mungo Design

Following the announcement yesterday that I would also now be hosting content from Ewan Rutledge at Mungo Design, he has now provided me with the first exclusive reskin, 67027 in DB Schenker livery.

This reskin can be downloaded from the dedicated Mungo Design page by clicking here.

Fastline Class 56 Reskin

The conveyor belt keeps rolling with another fantastic Class 56 reskin courtesy of Richard Fletcher, this time in Fastline livery.

Six New Class 31 Reskins

A bumper treat this morning for Class 31 fans with six new variations of the class, all owned by 'DCR' and in a variation of liveries. All require the newer Class 31 from Steam, and some also require marketplace variants for authenticity, details of the requirements for each locomotive are outlined on the download page.

And they are not only repainted! All of the reskins have had the physics tweaked, to better reflect the underpowered prototype and all variations come with an alternative .bin file to make use of the AP soundpack, instructions on how to implement this are in the accompanying readme files.

A big thanks to Richard for continuing this outstanding and high quality work.

All of these new reskins can be downloaded by following this link.

New Class 56 Reskin

It didn't take long, but I didn't expect it to!

Courtesy of Mr Richard Fletcher, the first Class 56 reskin, 56303 in DCR livery. This obviously requires the recently released Class 56 'Sectors' pack, available from Steam.

More New Reskins

Yet more new and fantastic reskins from Richard Fletcher.

This time we have the Class 66 GB Railfreight 66721 'Tube Map' Repaint which requires the RSC Class 66 Freightliner V2.0 pack to work.

Secondly, we have a Network Rail IOA repaint which uses the Oovee MJA model, included with the Class 70 pack. This wagon was also available as a separate purchase, if you owned this original version of the pack, the reskin should still function.

Both of these fantastic new reskins can be downloaded from Richard's dedicated page by following this link.

Meet Clive

Hello everyone, I'd like you all to meet Clive.

Yet another fantastic reskin from Richard Fletcher, and something I feel is very quirky. Clive is a Class 03 shunting locomotive, and he requires you to own the Doncaster Works route in order for him to work.

The reskin can be downloaded from Richard's dedicated page, which can be found by clicking here.

I am currently undertaking several tests on the DPSimulation store in order to see how sale bundles work. Due to it's infancy, the current store options are limited, these tests are necessary in real world conditions, and it enables you to grab a bargain!

South West Branch Line - Released

I am extremely pleased to announce the release of an all new and completely free route, initially exclusive to DPSimulation!

The 'South West Branch Line', created by Devon Labuschagne is a route loosely representing the line from Barnstaple to Exeter, better known as the Tarka line.

Painstakingly created in enormous detail, the route runs from the country town of Ashborough through the North Devon countryside to the mainline station of Stornton. It then continues onto to Stornton Central and ends at Redhurst Park. A route map depicting the route can be found in the manual. Requirements for this route have been kept at a minimum, with the vast majority of assets included in the package. However, you will require the European Loco & Asset Pack which is available from Steam. Users who owned the program prior to Train Simulator 2012 will already own this, it is also included with many popular routes such as WCML North & WCML Over Shap along with many others.

Several scenarios are included with the route and all use the above European Loco & Asset pack. Alternative versions of these scenarios are also included, these make use of further payware requirements for authenticity and details of these requirements are listed in the supplied manual.

Many members of the community helped contribute towards this fantastic route and details of these contributions can be found in the user manual.

This fantastic route can be downloaded** by clicking the following link.

** Although every effort has been made in preparation for the release of this route, it is expected to be extremely popular and will put a strain on the servers. If at any time you are unable to download the route, please wait a while and try again later.

New Reskins Uploaded

I have just uploaded several new reskins to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Richard Fletcher.

The first is a Class 319 in the striking 'Pinky & Perky' FCC Thameslink livery. The original Class 319 is required from the Steam store in order for this reskin to function.

The second is another Class 319, this time in Southern livery. Again, the original Class 319 is required from the Steam store in order for this reskin to function.

The third is a Class 47 in 'Executive' livery. This is a reskin of the Class 47 from the 'WCML Over Shap' route.

And last but not least, the recently uploaded Class 319 in Southern livery with FCC branding has been updated to V1.2. All of the Class 319 packages also contain alternative .bin files for use with the Armstrong Powerhouse sound packs.

Once again, a huge thanks to Richard for taking the time to create and share these fantastic reskins. They can be downloaded by following this link.
