I have just uploaded the latest set of repaints to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Richard Fletcher.
This upload provides the Class 156 DMU in Northern Rail livery, with different variations of light cluster. The repaints were also created with the Armstrong Powerhouse sound pack installed, so this is recommended. However, as with many other repaint packs, the original sounds may still function.
Both repaints can be downloaded by following this link.

First Transpennine Class 170 Released
I have just uploaded the latest repaint to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Richard Fletcher.
The repaint in question is a Class 170 'Turbostar' DMU in First Transpennine Express livery. The Class 170 is available from Steam both as an individual product, and as part of the Edinburgh to Glasgow route pack.
I have also uploaded V1.1 of the East Midlands Trains Class 158 which is based on the model included with Liverpool to Manchester. v1.1 fixes a missing textures issue with the car end identification numbers (the 2 and the 7). It also makes the reskin compatible with the Armstrong Powerhouse Class 158/159 Pro Sound Pack and finally there are a couple of adjustments to the pre-made consists to make them more QD friendly.
Both repaints can be downloaded by following this link.

Edinburgh to Glasgow – Scenery Extension V4
Although
the intention was to move away from the Steam Workshop for the
Edinburgh to Glasgow extension and have it as a website based version
with custom objects, recent developments have made it very difficult
to be able to distribute this in a way that would be acceptable to
the original developer, with the workshop being their preferred
method of distribution. Therefore, the workshop version has now been
updated to implement the latest changes and should download
automatically for the near 3000 current subscribers.
Now
labelled as V4, this Steam Workshop update features the previously
released Stirling scenery extension. In addition, the Shotts line is
now fully complete as far as Midcalder Junction. Using a Class 156 on
a stopping service, this line now adds an additional 25-30 minutes of
driving over the original Edinburgh to Glasgow route. The route is
now only 16 miles from Carstairs, a realistically achievable target
which would provide another vital route to Train Simulator.
This
update is now live on the Steam Workshop and is available for
subscription and due to the restrictions of the workshop, the route
is only available with simple Quick Drive. For those who receive an
automatic update, it may be advantageous to clear the cache from in
game in order to make the scenery changes appear.
The
workshop page for the route can be found by clicking here.

New Class 158 Repaints
I have
just uploaded a further three Liverpool to Manchester Class 158
repaints to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Richard Fletcher.
The
three repaints are Transpennine Express, Central Trains and First
North Western.
Like
recent uploads, this pack includes a .bat file which will
automatically copy over the relevant files. Further to this, you do
not need to unpack the .ap file before doing so and all packs have
been thoroughly tested with this file both packed and unpacked, all
are working as intended.
This
repaints can be downloaded from the DMU section of Richard's page by
clicking here.

DPSimulation Early Access - Edinburgh to Glasgow Scenery Extension
I have
now released the first website only version of the Edinburgh to
Glasgow – Scenery Extension for those with Early Access. If you
have this access, log in to the page with the details you were
previously given and the route should be available to you.
This
version encompasses all of the previous updates, including the full
Stirling extension along with the custom Stirling platforms, but it
also includes the next portion of the Shotts/Carstairs line which is
now fully scenerised as far as Midcalder Junction. That leaves only
16 miles to Carstairs, which I'm sure you will agree is another piece
of the Train Simulator jigsaw and is always well requested.
There
is no date set for a full public release as yet, but this will be
decided in the near future and announced accordingly.
