East Midlands Trains Class 158 Released
I have
just uploaded yet another repaint to the DPSimulation website
courtesy of Richard Fletcher.
Utilising
the Class 158 included with Liverpool to Manchester, this repaint
features the class in East Midlands Trains livery. As well as the
exterior livery change, this repaint also includes new cab and
passenger view textures.
Like
recent uploads, this pack includes a .bat file which will
automatically copy over the relevant files. Further to this, you do
not need to unpack the .ap file before doing so, as the .bat file
does this automatically, the installation process has just become a
whole lot easier!
This
repaint can be downloaded from the DMU section of Richard's page by
clicking here.

Bumper Bank Holiday!
I have
just uploaded several new repaints to the DPSimulation website on
behalf of Richard Fletcher.
Starting
with a Class 66, we have an EWS/DBS 'Debranded' repaint, these are
starting to appear increasingly on the network. This repaint requires
the Class 66 EWS V2 addon.
We
then have three liveries for the Class 150 by Thomson/Oovee. The
liveries in question are 'Network Northwest', 'Greater Manchester
PTE' and 'Merseyrail'.
Then,
we have a further four variations for the same Class 150 in
Sprinter/Provincial livery to represent four different depots in
Cardiff Canton, Haymarket, Neville Hill and Newton Heath. All four
have the relevant destination boards for their depot as well as
numbering to reflect allocations in the late 1980's period.
All of
the above include .bat files for ease of installation and without the
need to copy .GeoPcDx files between folders.
Finally,
the Manchester Metrolink M5000 tram has been reuploaded and is now
V1.2. This will be the final version and includes the correct
textures, input mappers and it does not require the original Croydon
Tram to be installed.
All of
these repaints can be downloaded from their relevant section of
Richard's page by clicking here.

New Repaint Uploaded
I have
just uploaded two revised files to the DPSimulation website, courtesy
of Richard Fletcher along with a new upload.
The
revised files are for the Manchester Metrolink tram, which now
includes the missing input mappers along with a new version of the
London Midland Class 350/1 which includes revised physics.
The
new file is a further Class 350 pack, with London Midland /2 &
/03 variants. These also feature updated physics, correct front end
livery variations and interiors.
Both
of the Class 350 packs also now include batch files, so the days of
having to carefully copy .GeoPcDx files are now over. Simply install the
.rwp file as normal, then navigate to the location of the batch file
as described in the readme. Run the batch file and it will quickly
and automatically copy over the correct files before deleting itself
to save space.
All of
these repaints can be downloaded from the EMU section of Richard's
page by clicking here.

Liverpool to Manchester - Two New Repaints Released
I have
just uploaded two new repaints to the DPSimulation website, courtesy
of Richard Fletcher. Both have been created for use on the recently
released 'Liverpool to Manchester' route from Dovetail Games.
The
first is a London Midland Class 350/1 which utilises the Class 450
included with the London to Brighton route addon. An all new custom
pantograph has been created specifically for this repaint, and
therefore no further addons are required.
The
second is a repaint of the excellent Croydon Tram from Richard Scott
in Manchester Metrolink livery. Although it is anticipated that this
will be mainly used as AI in scenarios, it is driveable and due to
the current situation on the Liverpool to Manchester route where the
Metrolink lines are unelectrified, a 'diesel' version has been
included that will run on these lines.
Both
of these repaints can be downloaded from the EMU section of Richard's
page by clicking here.

The

DPSimulation, many of which were created specifically for this pack.

been chosen to offer excellent value for money in order to help
subsidise site costs at the ever expanding DPSimulation website. The

East Coast HST Branding Pack Released
I have
just released another repaint to the DPSimulation website on behalf
of Richard Fletcher.
To
round of this weeks East Coast Mainline theme, this pack adds East
Coast branding to the East Coast Mainline South (London to
Peterborough) HST. As this is a texture set, no file copying is
required and the files will simply overwrite the unbranded version
that is provided with the route package.
It
doesn't only feature the addition of branding, it includes several
texture tweaks to better reflect the prototype, weathering and the
removal of both the ATP signage and coach numbers. An amended
auto-number file for the power cars also provides prototypical
numbering for the current East Coast fleet.
This
pack can be downloaded from the Locomotives section of Richard's page
by clicking here.

First Capital Connect Class 317 Pack Released
And
the East Coast theme continues......

also now uploaded an all new First Capital Connect Class 317 pack to
the DPSimulation website.
Featuring
the First 'Dynamic Lines' style livery along with the plain dark blue
variant as seen on 317346, this pack has been designed to add greater
AI variation to the East Coast Main Line South (London to
Peterborough) route.
Additional
features include all new and fully customisable digital style
destination displays and pre-made 4-car consists are included for use
in Quick Drive or user made scenarios.

GNER/East Coast 91/Mk4 Set Released
I have
just released another repaint to the DPSimulation website on behalf
of Richard Fletcher.
Continuing
the East Coast theme, this is the first Class 91/Mk4 Set repaint from
Richard and it is the ex-GNER livery with East Coast branding. This
set obviously requires the InterCity Class 91 Addon from Steam.
Please
be warned that as with the East Coast Grey repaint, there is not a
simple installation process for this pack and it does require the
movement of several files, along with file editing should you wish to
enhance it further. Full instructions are included with the pack and
IF followed to the letter, the repaint will work as intended.
This
pack can be downloaded from the Locomotives section of Richard's page
by clicking here.

Grand Central HST Repaint Released
I have
just released another repaint to the DPSimulation website on behalf
of Richard Fletcher.
Intended
to be the start of an East Coast Mainline theme, the first upload
from this theme is a Grand Central HST set which utilises both the
ECMLS HST as well as using the Buffer HST pack for the buffers
themselves.
It is
also recommended to have both the MTU (Pro) and Mk3 Coach sound packs
from Armstrong Powerhouse to give correct audio for this train.
However, the majority of sounds should still alias to default should
you not own these packs.
This
pack can be downloaded from the Locomotives section of Richard's page
by clicking here.

Class 143/144 Repaints - Released
I have
just released another batch of repaints to the DPSimulation website
on behalf of Richard Fletcher.
All
utilising the marketplace version of the Class 143, three of these
repaints directly replace existing ones that were hosted in order to
provide more authenticity. A further Class 144 in 'MetroTrain' has
also been added.
As
well as utilising the marketplace variant, this still means that you
require the Riviera Line route for the original Class 143. All of
these repaints also automatically use the Class 142 from Armstrong
Powerhouse which was updated to provide better sounds to the class.

pack can be downloaded from the DMU section of Richard's page by
