Cotswold Rail HST Pack - Now Released

I have just uploaded a new repaint pack to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Richard Fletcher.

Utilising the recently released Class 43 (Valenta)/Mk3 Enhancement Pack, this pack features powercars in both Cotswold Rail and Hornby liveries, along with extra .bin files to provide some unbranded MML blue trailer cars, as per the set that these two power cars ran around with.

Both the European Loco & Asset pack from Steam and the Class 43 (Valenta)/Mk3 Enhancement Pack are required, otherwise this pack will not work.

This pack can be downloaded from the 'Locomotives' section of Richard's page by following this link.

Steam Workshop - 5M06 - 1738 Willesden PRDC to Ilford EMU Depot

I have just released a new scenario on the Steam Workshop.

Difficulty: Medium
Length: 40 Minutes Approx
Start Time: 17:40

Warning

As this is a low priority working, the scenario is fairly slow going and you are unlikely to travel long distances in a hurry. If you prefer a quicker run or dislike the stop/start nature of this type of service, this scenario is probably not for you.

Description

This evening you are in charge of a Class 325 EMU which is being sent to Ilford in order to have the wheels turned on the lathe. Using an STP path which has been slotted in between the busy evening traffic, you are timed to cross the 11 miles or so to Stratford in around 40 minutes.

Briefing

Starting at Willesden PRDC, you are cleared for immediate departure. Head on to the North London Line as far as Stratford, where another driver will take the unit onwards to Ilford.

Requirements

North London Line
Great Eastern Main Line: London to Ipswich
Western Lines of Scotland (Essential For Weather Pattern)

I have just released a new scenario on the Steam Workshop.

Difficulty: Medium
Length: 30 Minutes Approx
Start Time: 16:21

Warning

As this is a low priority empty stock working, the scenario is fairly slow going and you are unlikely to travel long distances in a hurry. If you prefer a quicker run or dislike the stop/start nature of this type of service, this scenario is probably not for you.

Description

This afternoon you are in charge of an empty stock working from Streatham Hill Shed to London Bridge. Using a mixture of Class 377/2 and 377/3 multiple units, you will drive the journey in its entirety.

Briefing

Starting at Streatham Hill, you are currently awaiting your path after being released late from the depot. Once given a clear signal, proceed to London Bridge where your service is due to form the 17:04 to Epsom. As you are an empty stock working you are not classed as a priority and can therefore be expected to be held for passenger services.

Steam Workshop - 5C19 - 1015 Preston [PRE] to Carlisle Kingmoor

I have just released a new scenario on the Steam Workshop.

Difficulty: Medium
Length: 80 Minutes Approx
Start Time: 10:17

Warning

This scenario was initially created for my own personal use and I therefore made use of what I own, with slight modifications now made for workshop compatibility, therefore this scenario has a LOT of requirements and although much of the stock used is now in the 'classics' range and available at a more reasonable price, I appreciate the requirements may exclude some users. I also have many further scenarios that utilise similar requirements and intend to upload these in due course.

Description

Whilst working the early morning Cumbrian Coast service from Carlisle, the Mk2 coaches on this set have developed a CDL issue meaning the train has been pulled from service. An STP path has now been created for you to take the train back to Carlisle Kingmoor via the WCML. You will drive the section from Preston to Carlisle.

Briefing

Starting at Preston, you are currently awaiting your path. Once given a clear signal, proceed non-stop to Carlisle, you have been given special dispensation to run the train at a maximum speed of 90mph where limits permit. As traffic is fairly light at this time of day, no delays are expected.

I have just released a new scenario on the Steam Workshop.

Difficulty: Medium
Length: 85 Minutes Approx
Start Time: 20:31

Warning

This scenario was initially created for my own personal use and I therefore made use of what I own with slight modifications now made for workshop compatibility. Therefore this scenario has a LOT of requirements and although much of the stock used is now in the 'classics' range and available at a more reasonable price, I appreciate the requirements may exclude some users. I also have many further scenarios that utilise similar requirements and intend to upload these in due course.

Description

Tonight you are in charge of 4M11, a Coatbridge to Crewe Basford Hall container working hauled by a pair of Freightliner Class 86 locomotives. You will drive the section from Carlisle to Preston.

Briefing

Starting at Carlisle, you are clear for immediate departure. Although you are currently on time, there are reports of issues south of here so be aware that adverse signals may arise. Your booked arrival at Preston is at 21:55. Please remember that the maximum speed of your consist is 75mph.

Notes

Due to circumstances out of my control, during testing, both signal CE304 at the end of Carlisle platform 4 and the next signal CE278 stay at red despite the line being clear. If this is also the case for you, you will need to press TAB in order to pass both signals.
