Class 45 Patch - Now Available

Following the recent release of the Class 45 pack and the subsequent comments about both the shade of blue, the non matching coaching stock and the incorrect numbering, Richard Fletcher has now provided me with a patch to fix this.

This download applies matching blue livery to the loco and coaching stock, plus correct number font and one or two other modifications. An amended auto-number file for the loco provides prototypical numbering for the Class 45/1 fleet.

This patch is available now from the following link.

GEML Class 90 - First Scotrail Repaint

I have now uploaded another repaint to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Richard Fletcher.

Featuring a Class 90 in First Scotrail livery, this repaint requires the GEML Class 90 pack from Steam in order to work. Please note that this repaint is separate from the FSR loco as available with the AP Waggonz Class 90 pack, and has been created from a new texture set with the idea that it is compatible for use with the Steam Workshop.

It can be downloaded, as ever, by following this link.

I have also uploaded a scenario from Richard, based on the Brighton Mainline. This scenario is also currently available on the Steam Workshop but can also be obtained from the following link.

First Transpennine Express Class 350/4 – Now Available

I have now uploaded an all new repaint to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Richard Fletcher.

Requested by many, the repaint in question is a Class 350/4 in First Transpennine Express livery and includes a custom pantograph. This repaint requires the London to Brighton pack in order to work.

It can be downloaded, as ever, by following this link.

Western Wonders

I have just uploaded some new repaints to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Mungo Design Studios.

Now available are two repaints of the Class 52 'Western' locomotive in Desert Sand and BR Green livery. Both require the Class 52 pack, available from Steam and both also require the Armstrong Powerhouse Class 52 sound pack to be installed.

As part of this batch of uploads, MDS have also provided me with the Class 82 DVT in both EWS and Network Rail liveries.

All of the downloads can be found by clicking here.

WCML Over Shap - Extension to Windermere

Some of you may be aware of the excellent 'WCML Over Shap - Extension to Windermere' route, created by 'n.e.hudson' available on the Steam Workshop.

Due to an issue with the workshop interface, the original upload did not produce the requisite tags that you see on the right hand side, this meant that although the route was finalised following the minimum amount of votes, scenarios would not be accepted.

This has now meant that the route has now been removed and re-uploaded, meaning the couple of thousand or so existing users will unfortunately have to re-subscribe and re-download. This also means that all of the votes have been wiped out.

Now the route is re-uploaded and the tags are correctly displayed, can I call on everyone who has previously downloaded the route, or that is interested in downloading the route to vote once again in order to get the required number of votes for finalisation. Many scenarios have already been created for this fine route and have been waiting in the wings, ready to be uploaded to the workshop. As soon as these votes are gained, the scenarios can be uploaded and hopefully will encourage many more users to create them.

The workshop page for the route can be found here.

TDA Murco Petroleum Tanks

I have just added another upload to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Richard Fletcher.

It features a Murco Petroleum tank in three different variations, two in red/white/blue and one in allover red.  There is also included a later VTG TEA tank in allover red, these being used in traffic alongside the TDA's.

These repaints require the Class 70 pack for the included TEA wagons. However, they were previously also available as a standalone purchase from the Steam store.

They can be downloaded by clicking here.
