I have now uploaded the latest repaint to the DPSimulation website courtesy of Richard Fletcher.
A repaint of the DB ICE3 EMU, available on Steam, this repaint depicts the Class 374 in Eurostar livery which I believe will start operating out of St Pancras in December.
This repaint has been created specifically as AI traffic on the London to Faversham route, and possible around the St Pancras area on the upcoming London to Bedford route. Although the repaint is fully driveable, the pantograph currently does not raise when in player driven mode and is therefore released purely to populate these routes as AI.
This repaint can be downloaded from the EMU section of Richards page by clicking here.

South London Network - Scenario Pack Released
I
am very pleased to announce the release of my latest scenario pack,
SP11.
This scenario pack
comprises of 8 scenarios, all based on the 'South London Network'
route available from Steam. Set in 2013, the pack covers commuter
operations and utilises the Class 377, Class 455, Class 465 &
Class 395 'Javelin'. The scenarios offer varying and challenging
operations and give over four and a half hours of further driving on
this fantastic route along with realistic AI and plenty of
interaction with other services to keep you on your toes.
Created using real
timetables where appropriate and using correct stock diagrams, this
scenario pack features the following in order to give an engaging and
realistic experience.
Prototypical consists
Prototypical passing AI
Adverse Signals &
AI Interaction
Challenging but
achievable timetables
Utilises repaints
originally created specifically for this pack
Several repaints
recently released on DPSimulation were originally also created
specifically for this pack and as ever, are completely free and
standalone from this scenario pack and are available to download now.
This
scenario pack is again priced at only £1.99, a price point which has
been chosen to offer excellent value for money in order to help
subsidise site costs at the ever expanding DPSimulation website. The
pack can be viewed and purchased by following this link,
which contains screenshots, a full list of requirements and a full
description of each scenario in order to provide you with all the
information needed before making a purchase.
This
release has also been added to the [DPS-ALL] scenario pack, which
allows users to purchase all current available packs in one go, for a
lower price.

Donation Drive
Although
it is something I very rarely do, I am unfortunately left with no
choice.
As
many of you may be aware, DPSimulation rely on donations from you,
the community in order to help maintain the future of the site and to
enable us to continue to provide content.
If you
like what we do, or just want to help out the site, please consider
making a donation of any amount. Paypal donation buttons can be found
on both this blog, and main site at http://www.dpsimulation.org.uk/
As an
extra incentive, all users that donate £4 or more will also receive
a copy of the next scenario pack, based on the South London Network.
This is due to be released within the next 7-10 days.
Thanks
once again for your continued support.

DPSimulation - Latecomers Sale
Following the recent Christmas and New Year sales, I've had several emails from people who managed to miss it due to family commitments over that period. I have therefore decided to run a 33% off sale until 5pm Sunday to allow these users to obtain the packs they want and help raise well needed funds for the website.

DPSimulation - Store Changes
In
order to comply with the new EU Digital Tax regulations that came into
force on 1st January 2015, certain countries will now have tax added to
the total sum of their purchase, relevant to the current rate for their
country. As 99% of our custom is from the UK, this will not affect the
vast majority of our customers where this cost will be absorbed. In cases where this tax is applied, due to the low price of each pack, the impact should be minimal.
As with all decisions, this has been made in order maintain the DPSimulation site for the future, and to expand the site with further content. As ever, all proceeds from the sale of these packs will be used to fund this future development.
For any enquiries, please contact DPSimulation via this link.
